The Small CRT Belt from KGS Baseball® delivers the same training purpose as the Original CRT Belt in a smaller package. Designed for younger athletes, catchers with smaller waists, or anyone who would benefit from lighter resistance, the Small CRT Belt provides a more appropriate fit without changing the intent of the training.
By placing the resistance point at the catcher's waist, the Small CRT Belt allows you to train glove strength and efficient, repeatable receiving movements without being tethered to a fence, machine, or training partner.
Receiving continues to play an important role in helping pitchers earn strikes, collect outs, and prevent runs. But there isn't one movement or technique that works for every catcher. The Small CRT Belt provides age- and size-appropriate resistance while allowing you to train the glove actions and movement patterns that work for you.
Built with the same approach as the Original CRT Belt, the Small gives developing catchers a simple way to add resistance and intent to their receiving work.
Fine tune what makes you, you.
Recommended for younger and smaller catchers. If you're unsure which CRT Belt is the right fit, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
RESISTANCE: Comparable to a standard orange (Micro) Sorinex resistance band (approximately 15–20 lb. of resistance).
RECOMMENDED USE: Dry patterning, barehand drills, gloved receiving, weighted-ball drills, and more. Machine work completed at your own risk. See full disclaimer above.
The Original CRT Belt came from a simple problem: while looking for somewhere to attach a resistance band for receiving work, there wasn't a good option.
So we eliminated the need for one.
The Small CRT Belt takes that same idea and makes it more accessible to catchers who need a smaller fit or lighter resistance. Same purpose, same freedom to train—just appropriately scaled for the athlete.
Instead of requiring a fence, weight, machine, or other fixed anchor point, the CRT Belt puts the resistance on the catcher. Grab your glove, put on the belt, and get to work.
Keep the Game Simple.
